Y.O.U. Evanston Gala Video 2017

A World of Opportunity

That was the theme behind this year’s fundraising efforts at Y.O.U. Evanston. After over 46 years and 20,000 youth served, the organization has moved into a new building. With transformational spaces for youth development, mental health counseling and community gathering, Y.O.U. Evanston wanted this year’s video to show how it’s growing with the community.

Now into the 6th year of the partnership between Media For Social Change and Y.O.U. Evanston, we decided to change up the style this time. We focused on the stories of 3 youth – each in elementary, middle and high school – and crafted the narrative to be driven by voiceover.

We’re proud to share the finished video with you below.

The Y.O.U. Evanston Gala Benefit Video 2017

Each year, more than 1,600 youth are exposed to a world of opportunity through Y.O.U.'s programs. Whether in elementary, middle, or high school, Y.O.U. creates a pathway for our youth and families.

On March 4th, Y.O.U. Evanston hosted their 46th Annual Benefit dinner at the Evanston Golf Club. The community’s warmth and generosity helped Y.O.U. raise over $350,000! We’re so glad to see the funds going towards weaving a world of opportunity for the 1,600 youth Y.O.U. serves each year.
